Southwest Florida and the diverse range of frogs and toads, many of which are indicators of environmental health. The state's warm and wet climate supports various habitats, including swamps, ponds, lakes, marshes, and rivers. These habitats are crucial for the survival of amphibians, and their decline can signal environmental issues.
