About the event
Join us for an evening with Ricardo Zambrano, Regional Biologist at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, as he discusses Roseate Terns and other tern species. Terns, which are found along coastlines, rivers, and wetlands worldwide, are often seen hovering above water before diving to catch fish. This presentation will highlight the Roseate Tern, noted for its distinctive features, and offer an overview of other common tern species found in North America and across the globe. The Roseate Tern is a medium-sized bird, known for its graceful appearance and the subtle pinkish tint on its breast during the breeding season.
